Privacy policy
Draft, version of October 2026.
This policy explains which personal data the MaxZit customer portal (portal.maxzit.com) processes, why, and what your rights are. It follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Serbian Law on Personal Data Protection (ZZPL).
Who is responsible
MaxZit is responsible for the processing. Contact for all privacy questions: office@maxzit.com.
What we process
- Account: your name, email address, password (only as a secure hash), the role in your company and whether two-factor authentication is on.
- Company: name, country, tax and registration number, address — needed for invoices.
- Security: sign-ins with time, IP address and browser; an audit log of changes. It protects your account and lets us investigate abuse.
- Support: tickets, messages and attachments you send us, and bug reports.
Why
To provide the portal and the support you bought (contract), to issue invoices and keep accounting records (legal obligation), and to keep the portal secure (legitimate interest). We do not use your data for advertising and do not sell it.
No trackers
The portal uses no analytics, no advertising and no third-party scripts or fonts. It sets only the cookies it needs: the sign-in session, the chosen language and, for five minutes during sign-in, the second-factor step.
Where the data is
On our own rented server at Contabo in the EU. Cloudflare protects the connection to the portal. Emails are sent through our mail provider.
How long
Account data as long as the account exists. Invoices as long as accounting law requires (in Serbia 10 years). Sign-in records and the audit log up to 2 years.
Your rights
You can see and download your data (My account → Download my data), correct it, and ask us to delete your account, to restrict the processing or object to it. Write to office@maxzit.com. You can also complain to the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection of Serbia (poverenik.rs) or to the supervisory authority in your EU country.
